OVERVIEW

The course is delivered in the second semester of the fourth year of the Master’s Degree Programme in Pharmacy and consists of two modules: Toxicology and Pharmacovigilance and Pharmacoepidemiology. The course is worth 10 ECTS credits.

AIMS AND CONTENT

LEARNING OUTCOMES

The course aims to address and explore in depth the most important topics related to toxicology, pharmacovigilance and pharmacoepidemiology. In particular, it will cover theoretical aspects and related examples, national and international regulatory and organizational aspects, as well as practical applications. EXAM DESCRIPTION

The final examination aims to assess the achievement of the intended learning outcomes. The exam is oral and will be conducted in the presence of the course instructor and an additional committee member. For further details, please refer to the individual module descriptions

ASSESSMENT METHODS

The assessment of the examination for this course will take into account the student’s level of preparation on the topics covered during the lectures, the ability to reason and make connections between concepts, as well as the appropriateness of the language used and the clarity of the presentation.
