OVERVIEW

The teaching unit encourages students to apply Internet of Things and Advanced Data Management methods, algorithms, and technologies, as well as distributed computing techniques, in a data-centric autonomously developed project.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

The teaching unit aims for students to gain a practical perspective on data processing pipelines, from data acquisition to data analysis, based on edge computing and NoSQL systems; gaining hands-on experience through a realistic data-centric project

Basics of distributed computing.

ASSESSMENT METHODS

Through an autonomous project, we will check the students ability to combine and apply what they are learning in the Internet of Things and Advanced Data Management courses on a concrete data-centric project.
