Final project

For admission to the graduate examination, you must have completed all of the course credits required by the educational regulations of your degree program.

The undergraduate examination consists of the presentation of an experimental thesis, before a committee, prepared under the guidance of a thesis advisor and one or more co-rapporteurs.

The paper may be a project or research paper.

In the final examination you will have to demonstrate:

• have developed awareness of the topics covered
• have analytical and synthesis skills, critical sense and autonomy of judgment
• have expressive skills both written and oral
• know how to identify goals and perspectives for your education.

You can write the thesis in English. However, in order to use another language of the European Union, you must ask for permission from the course council. In such cases, remember to accompany the paper with the title and ample summary in Italian.

If you are an undergraduate, you must:

1. Choose the degree session
2. Enter the title of your thesis

3. Fill out the degree application online

4. Fill out the questionnaire AlmaLaurea online
5. In case you have books on loan, return them to the library
.
6. Fill out the questionnaire to evaluate your study course

Remember:

1. Check that you are current on your tax payments

2. Pay the stamp tax of € 16 for the issuance of the degree diploma (pay here)

3. Check that you have taken all your exams and training activities
4. Check that they are all marked on your online career no later than 15 days before the date of your graduation session

The evaluation of the final test is based on the following elements:

• average of grades of the examinations taken, expressed in hundredths
• 1 point for every 4 praise (up to a maximum of 1 point)

The committee, upon hearing your exposition during the graduation session, will score up to 9 points to be added to the basic score.

The final evaluation will take into account:

• of the evaluations of the educational activities carried out during your coursework
• of the performance of a study period abroad: if you acquired at least 20 CFUs in a semester, you will be added 1 point.

The final test is passed if you obtained a grade of not less than 66 points out of 110.

Honor may be awarded by unanimous opinion of the committee if you have earned a final score greater than or equal to 110/ 110.

Dignity of Press requires the approval of the majority of the committee and can be granted only to research theses that present particularly innovative content, regardless of the final score achieved.
