Meetings with the Civil Protection on the risks of extreme weather events

The awareness-raising and information campaign on risks related to extreme weather events organised by UniGe and the Civil Protection of the Municipalities of Genoa and Savona kicks off. During the meetings, dedicated to the student community and open to all staff, we will talk about:

• weather-hydrological forecasts, between models, false certainties and climate change
• land characteristics and effects of extreme weather events
• municipal civil protection, training and information and self-protection measures
• Academic procedures to be adopted in the event of hydrogeological, hydraulic and snow alerts and other risks

with the interventions of:

• Igor Aloi for the Municipality of Savona
