Graduates with degrees obtained abroad Access to the degree programme is open to graduates witha qualification obtained abroad recognised as suitable for enrolment in a Master's degree programme in the area of economics or business administration. Graduates with a degree obtained abroad who require a visa must apply for admission through the UniGeApply pre-selection portal. In order to be admitted, they must have obtained a degree grade corresponding to at least 80% of the maximum grade allowed by their university. If their application is approved, they must follow the procedures indicated on the University's website on the web page dedicated to international enrolments.. The verification of the suitability of the qualification obtained abroad is carried out by the Welcome Office of the University of Genoa.. Students must be in possession of the curricular requirements before accessing the personal preparation verification stage. Language requirements All applicants are required to have an adequate knowledge of the English language (at least B1 level), in oral and written comprehension and communication, in order to enter the course. To this end: three-year degree graduates who have obtained their degree (in any class of degree) at the Department of Economics of the University of Genoa are considered to have met this requirement; all other candidates must demonstrate possession of this requirement by one of the following methods: by presenting a certificate of linguistic knowledge of at least B1 level among those recognised by the University of Genoa;;. demonstrating that they have passed, during their previous university career, one or more English language exams, for a total of at least 6 CFUs, with an average mark of at least 21/30. In the case of a qualification awarded abroad, the grade and weight in credits of the language examinations will be verified by applying the conversion table used for the international mobility of students of the Department of Economics of the University of Genoa. 2. Register and pre-register To register, you need to go through the online procedure, which includes registration and pre-registration (see the TUTORIAL). UniGe Portal Registration If you have never been enrolled at the University of Genoa, access the UniGe Portal and obtain your UniGePASS credentials.. Pre-registration Make apply for pre-registration using the UniGePASS credentials received with your registration. You can apply for pre-enrolment even if you have yet to graduate or, if you are a graduate, even before applying for verification of the curricular requirements or before receiving the outcome of the same.
