Why

The Bachelor of Science in Exercise, Sport and Health Sciences is based at the Savona educational pole.

The course is located in the Savona educational pole.

The Pole is structured as a University Campus and is equipped with all the facilities suitable for the optimal conduct of theoretical and practical training activities in the field of motor, sport and health activities, such as lecture halls, study rooms, fields and gyms. Two examples: the Urban Gymnasium, where Functional Training takes place, and the U-Gym, a Human Energy Recovery Gymnasium.

Our degree programme, in addition to a solid traditional education in preclinical and motor sciences, aims to implement innovative educational, experimental and demonstrative interventions on physical activity to promote active ageing. The activities are carried out in dedicated spaces equipped in the sea and on the beach.

  • operator of prevention in health risk situations such as sedentariness, obesity, etc
  • organiser of motor, sports and leisure activities in the various age groups - developmental, elderly and adult
  • consultant for motor-sport activities at public and private sports clubs and organisations
  • sports educator in the technical conduction of motor and sports activities with the aid of specific equipment and tools - fitness and wellness
  • trainer in planning and conducting training programmes
  • technical and sports trainer for adapted activities aimed at maintaining physical and psychophysical efficiency

Where does he work?

  • Professional practice or in association with motor and sports activity centres
  • employment by companies in the sports sector, research centres and facilities dedicated to motor and/or sports activities
  • management of sports, recreational and fitness groups
