✅ Degree Program Board Coordinator

The Degree Program Board Coordinator (Coordinatore del Consiglio di Corso di Studio) is in charge of performing the duties assigned to her by the University Statute and by the University Didactic Regulation:

  • coordinating the committees and the delegates of the Degree Program (DP) (Corso di Studio, CdS)
  • calling the Degree Program Board (DPB)  (Consiglio del Corso di Studi, CCS)
  • approving the Annual Form (Scheda Unica Annuale, SUA-CdS), the Annual Monitoring Form (Scheda di Monitoraggio Annuale, SMA) and the Cyclic Re-examination Report (Rapporto Ciclico di Riesame, RCR)
  • communicating the results of the activities carried out by the committees and the delegates of the DP

✅ Degree Program Quality Assurance Committee

The CCS has a Quality Assurance (QA) system to keep processes under control.

The QA Commission of the Course of Study (CdS) has the following responsibilities and tasks:

  • compiles and updates within the established deadlines the Single Annual Form (SUA-CdS);
  • edits the Cyclic Review Report and monitors the progress of proposed improvement activities; 
  • analyses reports and requests from students, lecturers, TA staff in accordance with the procedures established by the CCS, in accordance with the University guidelines, in collaboration with the Delegate for Reports and Complaints;
  • disseminates within the CSD the culture of training quality and self-evaluation;
  • analyses teaching evaluation questionnaires, Almalaurea questionnaires and other information sources (e.g. questionnaires from institutions or host companies);
  • analyse the report of the School Joint Committee;
  • defines the procedures relating to the submission of reports and complaints by students of the Boards of Studies, also in collaboration with the delegate for reports and complaints
  • analyses and compiles the Annual Monitoring Form (SMA);

✅ Steering Committee

The Steering Committee has the following responsibilities and tasks:

  • expresses the needs coming from society and the world of work and culture;
  • provides an opinion on the consistency of the study path as a whole and of the specific training activities with the demand for training:
  • promotes collaborations concerning internship activities, orientation and support of graduates for their entry into employment;
  • fosters links between universities, schools and companies in order to better understand the expectations of young people and facilitate their entry into the world of work.

✅ Didactic Planning Committee

The Teaching Planning Commission (CPD) has the following responsibilities and tasks:

  • reviews the educational pathway periodically on the basis of the data and indications resulting from the monitoring activities and organises its delivery, also taking into account the needs of facilities and services; 
  • verifies the congruity between CFUs, teaching load and progression in the semesters, also in collaboration with the working groups for tutoring and semester teaching organisation; 
  • Identifies actions to promote the internationalisation of the Degree Course through promotional activities abroad and the mobility of lecturers, in collaboration with the internationalisation delegate;
  • reviews periodically the requirements for admission to the LM, in collaboration with the LM Admission Working Group
  • revises periodically the arrangements for the mid-term and final examinations, in collaboration with the delegates for the final examinations;
  • makes the harmonisation of the programmes of the educational activities;  
  • checks the completeness of the information in the teaching schedules; 
  • checks the adequacy of teaching facilities and student services, also in collaboration with the delegate for reports and complaints.

✅ Promotion, Orientation and Tutoring Committee

The Promotion, Orientation and Tutoring Commission (CPOT) has the following responsibilities and tasks:

  • organises the promotion activities of the CdS towards the outside world;
  • organises, in coordination with the Department or School Guidance Delegate and the University's Guidance Sector, the incoming guidance activities with schools and the transversal skills and orientation courses;
  • coordinates the reception and didactic tutoring activities also in collaboration with the tutoring working group;
  • organises activities to promote outgoing guidance, with reference both to subsequent levels of study and to the world of work, also in collaboration with the Delegate for internships

Calendars and spaces

  • organise timetables and spaces relating to lectures and exam calendars, so as to avoid overlaps;
  • checks the correct set-up of lecture rooms at the beginning of each semester.

  • manages proposals for internship/internship activities.

Tutoring Working Group

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • supervises students enrolled in the first year;
  • monitors inactive students, out-of-course students, and dropouts;
  • promotes, together with other CdSs of the School of MFN Sciences, welcome and mentoring projects for freshmen;
  • cooperates with the Promotion, Orientation and Tutoring Commission to coordinate the student tutors for reception and the student tutors for teaching.
