For admission to the master's degree examination, you must have obtained all the credits stipulated in the didactic regulations of your degree course. The final examination consists of the discussion of aexperimental thesis, written in English, on your research work carried out in the lecturers' laboratories and/or in companies in the sector. You must submit your thesis application at the beginning of the 2nd year, stating: . the research facility at which you intend to carry out your thesis. your supervisor Approximately one month before the thesis is to be discussed, you will be assigned a co-supervisor.The thesis must also be submitted to the examination committee. In addition, the thesis must be handed in to the examination committee at least 20 days before the official session. The thesis discussion and final examination will take place at two separate times: 10 days before the official session there will be a examination session in which you must present your work to a committee. On the day of the official session, you must publicly discuss your work. After the presentation, the grade, in hundredths, will be announced and the proclamation made.
Evaluation Criteria The grade for the final examination, expressed in hundredths, is the sum the mark awarded by the committee for the experimental thesis (expressed in thirtieths). of the weighted average of the marks obtained for the subjects in your study plan (expressed in ninetieths) of your curriculum You may also be awarded: 1 point if you have completed your current studies (2 academic years) 1 point if you undertook a training period abroad during your studies (minimum 3 months). The final examination is passed if the candidate has obtained a mark of not less than 66/100 points. A distinction may be awarded with the unanimous opinion of the committee if the candidate has obtained a final mark of 110/110 or higher.
