Admission to the Course is subject to:

  • a three-year university degree
  • four-year college degree

Further, English language proficiency at least at level B2 is required.

Did you get your degree abroad?

If you graduated abroad follow the apposite application procedure for foreign students with the support of the Welcome Office and subsequently support the test your knowledge of the Italian language.

Graduates holding a degree obtained in an EU country must request an assessment of their academic record, including the relevant course syllabi, by sending them to valutazionedeirequisiti@economia.unige.it
If the curricular requirements are found to be lacking, the assessment will include an indication of the exams to be taken as a bridging program in order to address any identified gaps and to gain access to the personal preparation assessment process.

Candidates holding a non-EU degree must:

  1. Apply via the UnigeApply portal (no other application methods will be accepted), declaring: final degree grade (corresponding to at least 80% of the maximum achievable grade, a mandatory requirement); knowledge of Italian; and English proficiency (B2 certification);
  2. Take an interview to assess their suitability for the LM EDS program;
  3. Take an English language interview (if no valid certification is provided) to verify proficiency at least at the B2 level (CEFR reference);
  4. Are invited to take the Italian language proficiency test organized by the University;
  5. May attend the Italian language course offered by the University.

Following a positive evaluation, the acquisition of any necessary bridging credits, and the completion of the identified process, candidates will then be granted access to the final assessment of their personal preparation
