The course in brief Presentation The course trains professionals to contribute to technological innovation in the many application fields of electronics. Solid basic skills, versatility and multidisciplinarity are the main components of the training course. Learning by doing In order to develop innovative and efficient technological solutions, the electrical engineer is constantly called upon to exploit his skills in concrete applications, devising problem-solving strategies. For this reason, a significant part of the teaching hours is devoted to practical and laboratory experiences, so that students can test the theoretical knowledge they have acquired in the field. Professional outlets Companies and organizations—both private and public—that work in areas like: electronics, microelectronics, and mechatronics managing processes and systems that combine IT components, measurement tools, and data transmission analog and digital electronic components, circuits, and systems radiofrequency and microwave devices and systems hardware/software systems in the IT sector data transmission and processing services automation and robotics What you will learn digital & analog circuits design and implementation of electronic circuits Machine Learning Methods and circuits for intelligent signal processing embedded systems From the integrated electronic system to the application cyber security Encryption techniques and data protection Applied electromagnetics From microwave systems to diagnostic techniques advanced programming Software technologies for high-performance computational systems internet of things Electronic systems for the industry of the present and the future pervasive computing Electronic systems for mobile and interactive devices edutainment Electronic systems for educational entertainment Sensing systems From artificial skin to radar detection Did you know that 75% of our students enter the workforce two months after graduation You will have the opportunity to carry out your internship and thesis at the most important industrial companies in the area. The Electronic Engineering degree offers employment opportunities in Italy, but also in the rest of the world. Contents Electronic systems represent the core element of all innovative applications. An excellent example is autonomous or semi-autonomous machines such as drones, robots, cars. These machines are able to perceive, explore and manipulate the world around them. Here, the electronic system performs two fundamental tasks: processing data to solve complex problems and interacting with the outside world through sensors, actuators and communication systems. In this and many other scenarios, the role of the electronics engineer is crucial in designing and developing new generations of electronic systems and related hardware/software technologies to support increasingly advanced applications (IoT, wearables, cyber-physical systems, cybersecurity, ...). The degree course is therefore structured to provide not only solid theoretical foundations, but also the ability to move in interdisciplinary contexts and the ability to develop original solutions for constantly evolving application areas. The contents are geared towards training graduates who can develop skills for the analysis, design and implementation of: digital and analogue circuits integrated electronic sensor systems intelligent algorithms based on machine learning radiofrequency and microwave devices, sensors and systems software modules for devices with high computational efficiency Coordinator Image Welcome to the Master Degree in Electronic Engineering – where innovation meets opportunity!
