Final project

What is

To be admitted to the final examination, you must have regularly attended the educational activities and earned the credits required by the regulations.

The final examination consists of the discussion, before a committee, of a paper on topics and activities carried out by you during the three-year period; it serves to ascertain your technical-scientific and professional preparation as well as to acquire knowledge useful for entering the world of work or for continuing your studies.

The paper should develop topics taught primarily in Algorithm Design and Analysis, which the course of study has identified as an examination that integrates the various skills it wishes to impart.

As part of a specific laboratory module, you will be given an individual project that summarizes all the basic and specific skills you have acquired in the three years of training.

The paper should reveal:

  • your basic preparation
  • correct use of sources and bibliography
  • your systematic and argumentative skills
  • clarity in exposition
