I want to become a tutor

The Inbound Orientation and On-going Assistance Service for Language students is coordinated by the Tutoring and Orientation Committee.

The student tutors can assist you as you take the first steps in your academic life: for example, they can help you organize your class schedule, find faculty contacts and course schedules, and fill out your study plan. You can turn to them for any questions or needs you may have!

Do you need to receive support from an teaching tutor? Contact the subject reference teacher, he/she will know how to provide you with all the information you need to access the service.

The Tutoring and Orientation Committee organizes various in-course and out-course tutoring activities, which may be eligible for credit:

  • The SOS Dissertation Workshop
  • Laboratory on soft skills in university and in the world of work
  • The Orientation to the world of work workshops, in collaboration with the Placement Sector of UniGE
