Committees and delegates

Course Council Coordinator

It deals with:

  • performs all the functions assigned by the Statute of the University and the University Teaching Regulations;
  • coordinates the committees and the persons responsible for the activities of the CoS;
  • convenes the CCS and brings the SUA-CdS, the SMA, the RRCs for approval;
  • communicates to the CCS the results of all the activities carried out by the Commissions and the various activity leaders;
  • convenes the Steering Committee, sets the agenda and presides over its work;
  • makes the proposals emerging from the Steering Committee, in agreement with the CoS, and takes care of relations with its members;
  • he analyses the didactic assessment questionnaires, the evaluation questionnaires of the whole degree course, the AlmaLaurea questionnaires and other sources of information (e.g. questionnaires from institutions or companies hosting students on work experience placements) in collaboration with the QA committee of the degree course and brings the analysis document to the CCS;
  • analyses the report of the School Joint Committee and brings the outcome of its review to the CCS;
  • revises periodically the training course on the basis of the data and indications deriving from the monitoring activities and organises its delivery, also taking into account the needs of structures and services;
  • checks the congruity between CFUs and teaching load and the progression through the semesters;
  • periodically review the admission requirements and the modalities for intermediate and final examinations;
  • makes the harmonisation of the programmes of training activities;
  • checks, in consultation with the Departmental Commission for Teaching Records, the completeness of the information in the teaching records;
  • proposes to the BoD initiatives aimed at improving: the quality of the courses on offer; relations with students; relations with members of the Steering Committee and the external world; relations with other departmental, school and university bodies;
  • verifies the adequacy of teaching facilities and student services;
  • verifies the distribution of the dates of the examinations and the dates of the degree sessions on the basis of the proposal of the Head of Coordination of the timetable of lectures and examinations and of the teaching calendar defined in collaboration with the Director and the other Co-ordinators of the DISPI.

Course of Study QA Committee

The Course of Study (CdS) is equipped with a Quality Assurance (QA) system to keep management processes under control.

  • compiling and updating the Single Annual Report Form (SUA-CdS) and the Annual Monitoring Form (SMA)

  • edit the Cyclic Review Report (RCR) and monitor the progress of the proposed improvement activities

  • analyse teaching evaluation questionnaires, Almalaurea questionnaires, School Joint Commission reports
  • monitor student careers

  • monitor the reports and requests of students, lecturers and technical-administrative staff
  • .
  • monitor the progress of proposed improvement activities
  • identify training demand and training objectives
  • develop the training course
  • verify the congruity between CFUs and teaching load
  • assume certain functions of the didactic commission
  • promote the degree course externally in collaboration with the Department's Head of Orientation
  • support the CCS in defining the demand for training and the training objectives

Steering Committee

It deals with:

  • expressing the needs coming from society and the world of work and culture
  • providing an opinion between the coherence of the study pathway and specific training activities with the demand for training

Responsible for international activities

It deals with:

  • coordinating students in the Erasmus+ programme or other international programmes
  • promoting the internationalisation of the School through outgoing promotional activities and faculty mobility

Commission to verify initial knowledge

It deals with:

  • organising the activities to verify initial preparation
  • defining the access test calendar and communicating it through the website
  • compose and organise the commissions for the admission tests
  • coordinate the conduct of the admission tests

Responsible for internships, traineeships and job orientation

It deals with:

  • promoting, collecting and managing proposals for internship/internship activities
  • organising the collection of questionnaires and opinions of the organisations where placements and internships were carried out

Responsible for study guidance and mentoring

It deals with:

  • organising orientation activities with schools and alternating school/work
  • organise the activities for the promotion of the CoS externally
  • coordinate the activities of reception tutoring and didactic tutoring

Responsible for the Department's website

It deals with:

  • updating and verifying information on the Department's website

Study Plan Committee

It deals with:

  • defining for the CCS the needs of students regarding awards, placements, career transitions, study plans
  • verify the adequacy of initial preparation on the basis of the curriculum and documentation submitted by the student
