Main topics concerning advanced calculus ('analisi 2') for engineers, with specific focus on applications

 

AIMS AND CONTENT

LEARNING OUTCOMES

This teaching activity has been conceived as completion to arguments of basic calculus ('analisi 1') with the objective to provide further mathematical skills to engineers

 

AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

at the end of this activity and after clearing the corresponding exam, the student will be able to

- compute integrals of vector fields along curves in space

- compute multiple and surface integrals

- compute solutions of linear differential equations of the second order
