The teaching will be organised alternating between frontal and participative teaching. Frontal teaching will be aimed at identifying and understanding basic knowledge; participatory teaching will be based on problem-based strategies aimed atstimulating the ability to analyse some problems related to contemporary tourism. The materials used during the lessons will be uploaded in the Web classroom together with other materials (reports, links to databases, etc.) aimed at clarifying thequantitative aspects of the phenomena studied.
Students who have properly filed a certification of disability, DSA or other special educational needs are advised to contact both the contact person, Prof. SaraDickinson (sara.dickinson@unige.it), and the lecturer at the beginning of the course, in order to agree on teaching and examination methods that, while respectingthe teaching objectives, take into account individual learning methods and provide suitable compensatory tools.
