The integrated course provides an economic and managerial introduction to tourism, with a specific focus on sustainability issues. The "economic" module aims at applying the economics principles into the tourism market, mainly focusing on the impact of tourism on the regional economy and the role of transport in shaping tourism markets. The "managerial" module provides knowledge and skills for the management and governance of tourist destinations, with a specific focus on destination marketing.
