AIMS AND CONTENT

LEARNING OUTCOMES

The course aims to provide the student with the fundamental elements of commercial law with particular reference to companies carrying out tourism-type activities.

AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

Ability to Apply Knowledge and Understanding: Students must be able to apply their acquired knowledge and understand and resolve legal issues and issues related to the interpretation of regulations relating to business, corporate governance, trademarks, advertising, and competition.
Making Independent Judgments: Students must be able to apply the acquired knowledge both conceptually and operationally, with independent judgment and skill in various application contexts. This will be particularly encouraged through the exercises scheduled during the course. These exercises, which will be held during class time, focus, among other things, on the solution of concrete cases, a technique that is very useful for learning to independently apply the regulations studied in order to resolve controversial cases.

Communication Skills: Students must acquire the technical language typical of the discipline to communicate clearly and unambiguously with both specialist and non-specialist interlocutors. This will be particularly encouraged through the exercises scheduled during the course. These exercises, which will be held during class time, will focus, among other things, on the presentation of cases and court decisions that the students will analyze in class. The instructor will then assess the presentation on four aspects:

Analysis skills

Synthesis skills

Clarity of presentation

Correct terminology

Organizational and application skills

Students must develop adequate learning skills that will allow them to independently pursue the main topics of the discipline, especially in the work contexts in which they will find themselves working. This will be specifically encouraged through the exercises that will be conducted during the course.

TEACHING METHODS

Lectures will be complemented by seminars, self-assessment exercises, and in-class exercises to address and resolve practical issues. Students will also work in groups to develop a tourism event or tourism business project, selecting the geographic and product markets and preparing a final presentation.

Non-attending students will receive specific information via the Aulaweb platform.

Compensatory or dispensatory measures are provided for students with learning disabilities (DSA) certification or specific disabilities, while ensuring they acquire the required skills and knowledge for the course.
