AIMS AND CONTENT

AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

Attendance and active participation in the proposed training activities (lectures, laboratory experiences) and individual study will allow the student to:
understand the fundamentals of general chemistry, thermodynamics, kinetic and electrochemistry.

It also aims to train students in numerical calculus, through the performance of numerous exercises in class, whose ability to resolve is also required in the exam

TEACHING METHODS

The course includes classroom lectures.

Through the didactic innovation project adopted by the Course in Chemical and Process Engineering, innovative tools will be used for an active learning of the student. The aim is to increase students' skills through new learning methodologies, from e-learning to team work, through experiences that increase student participation through a higher communicative level and make the student more aware and autonomous

EXAM DESCRIPTION

The exam consists of a written test, consisting of open-ended or multiple-choice questions.

The written test can be repeated, but in this case the vote of the last written delivered is valid.

Five exam sessions will be available, 2 in the month after the lectures, 3 by the end of the first ear of course.

ASSESSMENT METHODS

Details on how to prepare for the exam and the degree of depth of each topic will be given during the lessons.

The exam aims to ascertain the notions and skills provided during the lessons, also considering the quality of the written presentation and the use of technical terminology
