AIMS AND CONTENT

LEARNING OUTCOMES

This course is divided into two parts.

The first part aims to provide students with appropriate knowledge on the fast development of IT and its influence on shaping society, culture, and the economy. The course will outline the conceivable short-term scenarios (current transformations), medium-term scenarios (probable transformations) and long-term scenarios (possible transformations).

The second part of the course will propose the adoption of design tools for a conscious and design-driven definition of the future. Using the knowledge acquired throughout the course, students will be encouraged to design and detail numerous projects belonging to just as many possible future lives.
