    The drafting of the Internship Report and the oral presentation during the exam are also required.

    IT means are used such as computers, lim and slides.

    SYLLABUS/CONTENT

    The second module of Professional Internship has the Internship Laboratory I as a preparatory phase. In this phase, paths for the implementation of the learning process of the professional role are activated and the theoretical contents are correlated with the operational practice of the Social Worker in the related Services to the Territory. The theory-practice conjugation is achieved through the internship carried out, in the affiliated locations, with the help of a tutor (Supervisor Social Worker) and the internship teacher; carrying out activities peculiar to this phase of professional training such as study activities, field trials and documentation. The path will be supported through moments of reflection and re-elaboration of the practical experience following the group work methodology.

    The objectives to be achieved will be oriented towards grasping the professional three-dimensionality (organisation, territory, person) by exploring the fields of interest of the Social Worker's work and focusing on fundamental attention focuses for the development of the training process, such as:

    1. regulatory, organizational and functional knowledge of the Service;

    2. reading and analysis of the normative and socio-demographic characteristics of the territory, including the system of the personal services network in which the host Service is located, including the significant initiatives of the Third Sector agencies;

    3. reading of the community dimension and of a network approach with method and strategy, aimed not only at work on the individual, but also at work on and with the territory;

    4. formulate a picture of the needs of the frailties and problems of the context of reference to the people in charge of the Service, as well as of the broader social context of the Personal Service.

    The organization of the Service should be investigated according to the following activities:

    • analysis of the objectives of the Service

    • construction of the organization chart

    • observation of the functions of the Personal Service

    • participation in meetings

    • observation of the different functions of the different professional roles within an integrated multiprofessional and multimodal team, as well as in territorial contexts with mixed composition

    • analysis of the Service documentation both with an organization function and with the provision of services

    • drafting of reports, minutes and recording of interviews

    In relation to the territory in which the Service is located, the activities are:

    • identification and analysis of formal and informal Third Sector networks

    • observation of the functions of the Service towards the territory and community work

    • reconnaissance of operational resources with the network system

    • analysis of the composition and of the demographic characteristics and of the peculiarities that characterize the territory

    • documentation and mapping in relation to current legislation

    As far as knowledge of the needs, weaknesses and problems faced by the Service is concerned, a progressive changeover to these issues is envisaged through the following activities:

    - participation, as an observer, in the conduct of interviews in the contexts of the "citizenship desk" and the Professional Social Secretariat

    - consultancy interviews

    - acceptance interviews and first evaluation, with relative registration of the contents and required documentation

    - participation in multi-professional meetings for the management of complex problematic situations and use of the Service and profession documentation, with specific reference to the description of the choice of the identified tool and its professional use.
