The project and the verification of simple hydraulic systems are considered, as well as the design of real constructions limited to simple, static schemes. AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES The course provides the fundamentals of fluid flow and the tools for the design and verification of simple hydraulic systems, as well as for addressing more complex problems in a comprehensive manner. It offers the basic concepts of structural mechanics and their application in the design of real constructions, limited to simple static schemes. PREREQUISITES To understand and apply most of the concepts described in the teaching, it is necessary to have fundamental knowledge of mathematical analysis, physics, and geometry. In particular, it is necessary to have mastery of fundamental units of measurement, be able to perform simple calculations, and be able to express oneself adequately.
