OVERVIEW

The teaching of "Elementi di Fisica per le Professioni Tecniche" aims to provide students with the fundamentals of classical physics that are the basis for other subjects in the course of study

AIMS AND CONTENT

LEARNING OUTCOMES

During the course, the student will acquire basic knowledge of classical physics. After an introduction to physical quantities and units of measurement, elements of mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics and fluidostatic will be covered. The course includes theoretical lectures and the performance of elementary exercises on the topics covered, so the student will acquire the ability to solve simple physics problems quantitatively.

AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

The educational objectives of the teaching include:

- acquire the basic concepts, principles and physical laws of classical physics;
- acquire the ability to solve simple physics problems quantitatively.

EXAMS

EXAM DESCRIPTION

The examination consists of a written test with multiple-choice tests and possible open questions.

The examination is considered passed if the mark in the written test (Vf) is Vf >= 18. If the mark is lower than 18/30, the student must retake the written test at a later appeal.

There are no partial examinations during the lecture period.

ASSESSMENT METHODS

The examination will cover the topics of the program covered during the teaching lectures and is designed to verify the achievement of the learning objectives. In the event that the learning objectives are not met, the student is invited to reinforce his or her knowledge by contacting the course lecturer.

The examination is considered passed if the mark in the written test (Vf) is Vf >= 18. If the mark is lower than 18/30, the student must repeat the written test at a later appeal.

There are no partial examinations during the lecture period.
