They will also be equipped to apply evidence-based problem-solving approaches to address the specific needs that arise during the puerperium. AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES Gain a comprehensive understanding of the physiological changes in the genital tract during childbirth and the puerperium. Acquire in-depth knowledge of evidence-based care techniques related to labor, the puerperium, and neonatal management, with the ability to identify deviations from normal clinical patterns. Demonstrate a clear understanding of the defining characteristics of a healthy newborn.
