By the end of the course, the student should be able to:

  • Understand the main psychological theories and place them along the timeline, with particular attention to the historical, economic, and social contexts in which they developed.
  • Possess basic knowledge of the main areas of interest in modern scientific psychology.
  • Identify the application fields of psychological theories.

EXAMS

EXAM DESCRIPTION

Written exam (multiple-choice test on computer) covering the textbooks and lecture content not included in the texts. The exams are typically held at Disfor, Corso Andrea Podestà. The exact location and room will be provided on screen on the day of the exam.

ASSESSMENT METHODS

Knowledge of the main theories covered in the textbook, and understanding of the psychological mechanisms underlying the most important human behaviors.
