The course presents and explores models and methodologies of educational planning within social, educational, and socio-health interventions, and develops specific planning skills aligned with the professional profile of social workers. The learning path begins with an analysis of the educational dimension of each project, in order to identify structural and procedural elements across the various stages of planning, which require close integration between social and educational components.
The course will be organized through lectures, group work, and individual work aimed at learning and applying the various educational planning models and methodologies to different educational and social contexts.
The course will cover the following topics:
1) Educational, social, and socio-health interventions: continuities and differences
2) Design competence: skills, knowledge, experience, and belief systems
3) Educational interventions and their interdependence with the social dimension: continuities, differences, and specificities
4) From planning mindset to the development of an educational project targeting individuals, groups, and communities
5) Models of educational planning
6) Context analysis and definition
7) The project life cycle and the design process
8) From problem analysis to needs assessment
9) Contextual variables: risk and protective factors
10) Network building and models of participation
11) Individual, group, and community educational projects
12) Planning errors: bounded rationality, cognitive biases, and prejudices
14) Promotional, rehabilitative, reparative, and therapeutic interventions in various areas of educational and social work
15) Emergency contexts
16) From goals to objectives
17) The project plan
18) The Individual Educational Project, Group Educational Project, and Community Educational Project
19) Planning in key social areas: family (foster care and adoption), minors, disability, and addictions
20) Evaluation of an educational project
