Know and be able to apply the principles of accreditation and quality assurance of training projects at the level of basic professional training and continuing education in healthcare
The overall performance of health care systems is critically related to the performance of professionals, whose role is crucial, regardless of the type of health care system and resources available. The achievement of these quality goals is closely related to the quality of education and training in health care. The European Commission has identified precisely the development of the quality of education and training services as one of the strategic objectives, since they are an integral part of strategies for economic growth and social cohesion. The acquisition of such basic concepts will be among the training objectives of the course.
Course topics are covered through face-to-face lectures. Students with valid certifications for Specific Learning Disorders (SLD), disabilities or other educational needs should contact the Lecturer and the School/Departmental Disability Liaison at the beginning of the course to agree on possible teaching modalities that, while respecting the teaching objectives, take into account individual learning patterns.

The exam is taken at the integrated course level. Assessment of learning for the specific teaching is by written examination (multiple-choice quizzes).
Verification of learning is through the final examination, which aims to ascertain the student's effective acquisition of the expected learning outcomes. The student is expected to demonstrate acquisition of the basic concepts of quality assessment of educational pathways in health care.
