This integrated course aims to foster in future educators the development of competences related to the functioning of family relationships, offering a training pathway that combines theoretical knowledge with practical and reflective experience. The objective is to guide students through a critical and informed exploration of the relational dynamics within family systems.
To this end, the course includes the integration of the two modules “Family dynamics and intervention strategies” and “Promoting Relationships for Positive Parenting”, allowing for a complementary and structured approach to both the theoretical understanding of family dynamics and the educational interventions aimed at supporting emotionally sensitive and positive parenting.
The integrated course aims to promote in future educators greater awareness and competence about the functioning of the family considering the multiplicity of existing family models. Starting from a historical excursus, the useful tools to investigate the family functioning in interaction with different life contexts are presented. It also explains the main lines of research and the principles behind intervention methods to support safe and resilient family relationships.
