Admission criteria and procedure

Admission requirements

You can only enter this course if you have earned a bachelor's degree or equivalent (pre-doctoral degree, university diploma - 3 years, direct school for special purposes - 3 years) and if you meet the specific requirements.

Did you get your degree abroad?

If you graduated abroad, you will have to take a proof of Italian language skills.

If you graduated in Italy, continue reading.

Specific requirements

You can enroll directly in the Course if you hold a bachelor's degree in Classes L36 and L16 (or the corresponding classes of the former systems).

You will acquire up to a maximum of 30 training credits, distributed as follows:

  • 6 credits in the field of history (s.s.d. SPS/02, SPS/06, MSTO/02, MSTO/04)
  • 6 credits in the field of law (s.s.d. IUS/9; IUS/13, IUS/14, IUS/21)
  • 6 credits in the fields of socio-politology, geography and anthropology (s.s.d. SPS/04, SPS/07, M-DEA/01, M-GGR/02, M-GGR/01, SPS/11)
  • 6 credits in the field of economics (s.s.d. SECSP/01, SECS-P/02)
  • 6 credits in the field of linguistics (L-LIN/07, L-LIN/12, L-LIN/04).

The required skills will be ascertained by examination of the individual's curriculum and verification of the adequacy of the graduate's personal preparation in a manner defined in the announcement of admission.

2. Register and pre-register

UniGe Portal Registration

If you have never been enrolled at the University of Genoa, access the UniGe Portal and get your UniGePASS credentials (for more information you can watch the TUTORIAL).

Pre-registration

Make apply for pre-registration using the UniGePASS credentials you received with your registration.
