The Professionally Oriented Degree in Industrial Technology represents a three-year pathway leading to an EQF (European Qualification Network) level 6 qualification recognized throughout Europe and essential for access to the profession of Graduate Industrial Technologist. Unlike the other three-year degrees in the technical-scientific fields, this is an eminently practical course of study centered on extensive laboratory activities and an annual internship carried out in companies or professional offices, which trains qualified technicians capable of managing activities such as design, implementation, management, risk analysis, and safety in both prevention and emergency phases in various industrial and/or information fields. The degree is qualifying and is the only path that allows immediate access to the 'order of Graduate Industrial Technicians and, consequently, to numerous professional registers related to activities that require training and qualification. Like all three-year degrees, it also allows access to the roles of Officials in public bodies and companies. What will you study The training will be organized into curricula: on the one hand, the aspect of technological innovation related to the energy transition will be particularly considered, thus privileging everything that refers to: the production of renewable energy; the reuse and recycling of products and materials at the end of their life; the circular economy. The aspects of energy optimization of production technologies, reduction of raw material consumption, reduction of waste and its treatment/reuse will also be emphasized. On the other hand, the use of technologies (both established and innovative) to achieve industrial, energy, and digital transition in industrial and civil plant engineering will also be addressed in terms of implementation and management. Deep attention will be paid to the issues of energy sustainability, analyzing the use of renewable energy, energy efficiency, components and systems for energy conversion, electronic and information applications, and industrial automation; attention will also be paid to the principles of electrical and information security. There are planned, mainly in the second year, "classical" technical workshops, carried out in a university setting or in collaboration with Technical Institutes; these laboratory activities will include specialized courses, laboratories and/or seminars and internships carried out in an industrial setting, partly carried out in collaboration with the College of Industrial Technicians and Graduate Industrial Technicians. These activities may be partly customized, taking into account any previous activities of the student and his or her personal orientations. The third year of the course will be almost entirely engaged in the performance of internship activities, which will enable the student's training and at least partial specialization in one or more concrete areas of industrial technologies to be completed. It is important to emphasize that regardless of the chosen curriculum, the educational profile is unique and finds its synthesis in the proper management, organization and control of manufacturing production processes, energy transition and digital. After graduation The Industrial Technology graduate. The Professionally Oriented Degree in Industrial Technology is qualifying and is the only path that allows immediate access to the 'order of Graduate Industrial Technologists and, consequently, to numerous professional registers related to activities that require training and qualification. Like all three-year degrees, it also allows access to Officer roles in public bodies and companies. The typical work environment is corporate technical offices and professional firms in the technical industrial sector.
