Committees and delegates

Course Council Coordinator

It deals with:

  • execute all functions assigned by the University Statute and the University Teaching Regulations
  • .
  • convene the CCS and bring for approval the SUA-CdS, SMA, RCRs
  • report to the CCS the results of all the activities carried out by the Commissions and the various activity managers

  • revise periodically, in agreement with colleagues in the scientific disciplinary fields involved and in consultation with the Student Representatives, the training course on the basis of data and indications from monitoring activities and organize its delivery, also taking into account the needs of facilities and services in agreement with the Director of DAD

The Course of Study (CdS) is equipped with a Quality Assurance (QA) system to keep management processes under control.

Course of Study QA Committee

  • identify training demand and training objectives
  • develop the training course

It deals with:

  • compiling and updating the Single Annual Report Card (SUA-CdS)
  • by the established deadlines.
  • analyzing and compiling the Annual Monitoring Form (SMA)
  • edit the Cyclical Review Report and monitor the progress of proposed improvement activities
  • analyze reports and requests from students, faculty, TA staff consistent with the procedures established by the University
  • disseminate within the LSC the culture of quality education and self-evaluation
  • analyze teaching evaluation questionnaires, Almalaurea questionnaires and other information sources (e.g., questionnaires from institutions or host companies)
  • monitor students' careers

Teaching Commission

It deals with:

  • revising periodically the educational course based on data and indications from monitoring activities and organizing its delivery, also taking into account the needs of facilities and services
  • verify the congruity between CFUs and teaching load and progression in semesters
  • make the harmonization of the programs of educational activities

  • revise periodically access requirements and arrangements for mid-term and final reviews

Steering Committee

It deals with:

  • expressing needs from society and the world of work and culture
  • providing an opinion between the consistency of the course of study and specific training activities with the demand for training

The Steering Committee may invite other committees, members of the CCS (faculty and/or technical staff and/or student representatives), the Department, and external stakeholders to its meetings as necessary.

Contact person for students with disabilities or specific learning disorders

The contact person for students with disabilities or DSA, while actively cooperating with the LOD, operates at the DAD level. Appointment and assignment of functions therefore take place at the Department level.

It is in charge of collaborating with the University's Services Sector for Students with Disabilities and Students with DSA to ensure that those eligible who request it have access to the services dedicated to them, as provided for in Article 3 of the University Service Charter for Students with Disabilities and Title III of the University Regulations for Services to Students with Disabilities.

Responsible for internships, traineeships and job orientation

The internship/internship manager, while actively collaborating with and also in the interest of the LSC (and being a member of it), operates, with specific committee, at the level of the DAD Department also in relation to mentoring activities.

Appointment and assignment of functions therefore occur at the Department level.

He is in charge of:

  • organizing activities to promote orientation to the world of work (meetings with companies, etc.)
  • .
  • directing students of the CdS to the activities of the Placement Sector and employment guidance services of the University

Responsible

Website manager

It deals with:

  • updating and verifying the information on the course of study website
  • checking that transparency requirements are met

Responsible for coordinating class schedule and exams

It deals with:

  • managing class schedules so as to avoid overlapping

The lecture schedule coordinator, while actively cooperating with the LOD, operates at the DAD level. Appointment and assignment of functions therefore take place at the Department level.

Responsible for international activities

The Head of International Activities works in coordination with the Erasmus Commission of DAD and the Internationalization Commission of the Polytechnic School, of which he is a member.

It deals with:

  • promote and coordinate outgoing and incoming student mobility through all international mobility programs
  • promote faculty mobility and internationalization of the BoS through outbound promotional activities
  • coordinate the activities of the Office of International Relations Architecture
  • .

Responsible for Departmental Quality Assurance (RAQ)

The Quality Assurance Officer, while actively collaborating with the LOD, operates at the DAD level. Appointment and assignment of functions therefore take place at the Department level.

Joint School Committee

Responsible for departmental mentoring activities

The Department's Head of Tutoring Activities works in coordination with the faculty liaison for the CdS, the Orientation and Tutoring Commission of the Polytechnic School and the University's In-Course Orientation and Tutoring Sector.

It deals with:

  • coordinating and organizing the activities of the reception tutors for carrying out activities accompanying freshmen
  • coordinate and organize the activities of educational tutors for carrying out tutoring and didactic-integrative, preparatory and remedial activities

Contact person for theCdS

Commission for themonitoring of internships/internships.

It deals with:

  • periodically analyze the mid-term internship evaluation questionnaires by the intern and take action if they highlight problems in the conduct of the internship
  • periodically analyze the trainee's final internship evaluation questionnaires
  • periodically analyze the trainee's final evaluation questionnaires by the host party

Responsible for orientation

The Department's Head of Orientation works in coordination with the DAD Orientation and Communication Commission, the Orientation and Tutoring Commission of the Polytechnic School, the University Graduate Studies Orientation Sector, the University In-Place Orientation and Tutoring Sector, and the University Placement and Job Guidance Services Sector.

It deals with:

Inbound Orientation

  • Participate and contribute to orientation activities for prospective students: DAD Short Course Guide, Open Week, Open Day, Orientamenti Fair, Simulation test for admission to degree programs with programmed number, Pathways for Transversal Skills and Orientation (PCTO) (formerly Alternanza Scuola Lavoro)
  • organize activities to promote the CdS externally

Intercourse Orientation

  • Individual interviews for students for orientation and re-orientation
  • Freshmen Project: a joint and coordinated action at the University level in order to promote a decrease in the phenomenon of dropout through specific support actions for students during the first year

Outbound Orientation

  • events aimed at presenting job and internship offers

It deals with:

  • evaluate individual study plans and plan change requests submitted by students by the set deadline
  • evaluate student files for course of study transition and recognition of previous career

Commission on other educational activities

It deals with:

  • participating in the planning of other educational activities with the CdS Coordinator
  • evaluate students' requests and proceed to record the CFUs corresponding to the hours completed according to the types of activities
