Exams schedule

If the exam calendar is approved, register for the exams on the Online Services of UniGe, in the Students section, under Exams Booking.

Exam sessions are organised in accordance with the timetable set out in the Academic Calendar:

Exam session timetable for the 2026–27 academic year

• from 14/12/2026 to 22/12/2026 (1 sitting)
• from 7 January 2027 to 12 February 2027 (2 exam sessions)
• from 24 May 2027 to 23 July 2027 (3 exam sessions)
• from 30/08/2027 to 10/09/2027 (1 sitting)

Extraordinary sittings:
1)    Extraordinary sitting for final-year students in the summer session:
preferably between 19 and 30 April 2027 (to allow for the submission of the documentation required to participate in the June graduation session). The lecturer will add the examination upon receiving the first request; therefore, if it does not appear in the booking phase, please contact the lecturer by email, specifying the graduation session in which you intend to graduate (June or July).
2)    Pre-examination for the summer session (for compulsory first-year modules, but may also apply, on an optional basis at the discretion of individual lecturers, to other modules): from Monday 10/05/2027 to Friday 21/05/2027

Online registration opens every year in mid-November and will be permitted according to the timetable set by the lecturer.

Booking is compulsory: without a booking you cannot sit the exam.

Remember to book!

• via the UniGe student online services
• at least 5 days before the exam date unless otherwise stated

If you prefer to postpone to a later session, remember to cancel your booking!&If this happens after the exam registration deadline, please also remember to notify the lecturer.

N.B.To find out the exam dates for courses not provided by DAFIST and DIRAAS, but borrowed from other Departments, you need to consult the respective course sheets or directly access the Online Services portal.
