Admission requirements You can only enter this course if you have earned a bachelor's degree or equivalent (pre-doctoral degree, university diploma - 3 years, direct school for special purposes - 3 years), if you meet the specific requirements, and if you pass the prerequisite check. Curricular requirements To enroll in this course you must have: a bachelor's degree in geological disciplines: L-34 Class of Bachelor's Degrees in Geological Sciences, Class 16 Bachelor's Degrees in Earth Sciences, Bachelor's Degrees in Geological Sciences from the former four-year and five-year system a degree in Italy (three-year degree ex DM 509 or 270, single-cycle bachelor's degree ex DM 509 or 270, four-year, five-year degree of the old system) or an equivalent foreign degree. In this case, you will have to demonstrate that you have the geological skills necessary to pursue your studies with profit (through an admission interview) English language proficiency equivalent to a B2 level (by admission interview if you do not hold a certification)
2. Register and pre-register To register, you need to go through the online procedure, which includes registration and pre-registration (see the TUTORIAL). UniGe Portal Registration If you have never been enrolled at the University of Genoa, access the UniGe Portal and obtain your UniGePASS credentials.. Pre-registration Make apply for pre-registration using the UniGePASS credentials received with your registration. You can apply for pre-enrolment even if you have yet to graduate or, if you are a graduate, even before applying for verification of the curricular requirements or before receiving the outcome of the same. To find out about the deadlines and how you can enrol in UniGe please consult the web pages Dates and Enrolment Pre-registration and verification of personal suitability are free of charge. Payment of the registration fee and regional fee is only required upon confirmation of enrolment.

WARNING! In the pre-registration phase while selecting your course, in the dropdown next to the right always "requirements to be verified": even if you have an eligible degree, the Commission must check whether you have a B2-level English language certificate. If you already have a B2-level English language certificate, you can upload it in the "Documents [additional qualifications]" tab. If you already have a B2-level certificate, you can upload it in the "Documents [further qualifications]" tab. If you do not have any certification, you will have to take the verification interview (see Verification of personal preparation). When you can confirm your enrolment, you will be notified by email, to the address you provided during the pre-enrolment process.
4. Confirm registration confirm the course of study of your choice from those indicated in the pre-registration you have already entered; pay the first installment of fees according to the modalities and the deadlines indicated.
