The course in brief Presentation The course envisages three curricula from the second year onwards, to allow articulated exit profiles on the pedagogical and educational sciences component, but also to reflect certain differences inherent to the work contexts of the socio-pedagogical professional educator: in the social and cultural sphere, in contexts characterised by hardship, deviance and cultural multiplicity, and in contexts dedicated to early childhood. Learning by doing Laboratories and work placements allow, respectively, to acquire operational skills related to the different educational contexts and to gain experience in work areas specific to the socio-pedagogical professional educator. Professional outlets Professional socio-pedagogical educator, working in public, private or third sector facilities with specialisations in pedagogical, educational, training intervention areas and who addresses his or her competences to individuals in the different stages and ages of life. These competences are aimed at preparing competent professionals in the fields of education and human training and at training professionals who can analyse the needs of the territory. The first year, common to all courses, aims to provide basic knowledge in the pedagogical, psychological, sociological, historical-geographical, philosophical, computer science and linguistic areas, which are then declined in a more specific way in the following two years. The course includes compulsory internship and laboratory activities. Coordinator Image Dear students, education and training represent the future of society and our communities. This course is intended to help you become education and training professionals in very different contexts and fields: very young children, young people in difficulty, adults looking for a job and many others. Good motivation is not enough to do these jobs. Motivation is necessary but, then, it is essential to learn, study, experiment, practice and grow in the educational professions that will bring you into contact with people who express needs. Will you be able to listen, read and interpret these needs in order to provide effective educational responses? The course aims to help you along this path. Happy work.
