What is

To be admitted to the final examination, you must have regularly attended the educational activities and earned the credits required by the regulations.

The final examination consists of a discussion, before a committee, of a report on the internship activity carried out in companies, research institutions or university research laboratories in Italy or abroad.

The choice of the content of the work should be made at least three months before the course is to be held and with the assistance of a tutor, who is assigned by the LSC Board from among the teachers of the course itself and agrees with you on the topic.

What to do to graduate

If you are a final-year student, you must:

  1. Submit the title of your dissertation
  2. Choose the graduation session
  3. Complete the AlmaLaurea questionnaire online
  4. Complete the degree application online within 30 days of the exam date
  5. If you have any books on loan, return them to the library
  6. Complete the evaluation questionnaire for your degree programme

Remember to:

  1. Check that you are up to date with your fee payments
  2. Pay the stamp duty for the issue of your degree certificate (payable via the online services – payment of fees and contributions)
  3. Check that you have sat all the exams and learning activities
  4. Check that they are all recorded on your online academic record

What to do to graduate

  2. Submit your thesis title
  3. Complete the degree application online
  4. Complete the AlmaLaurea questionnaire online
  5. Return any books to the library, if you have borrowed any
  6. Complete the Teaching Evaluation Questionnaire for your degree programme

Remember to:

  1. Check that you are up to date with fee payments
  2. Pay the stamp duty for the issue of your degree certificate via the online service Payment of fees and contributions
  3. Check that you have sat all your exams and completed all your course modules, and ensure that they are all recorded on your online academic record no later than 15 days before the date of your graduation session

Evaluation

The final grade is expressed in one hundredth of a tenth and includes an overall evaluation of your curriculum.

  • calculates the average of the grades obtained in the educational activities evaluated in thirtieths, including grades obtained in examinations passed at other courses of study and validated, using the relevant credits as weights
  • .
  • may add to the average (converted to one hundredths) a maximum of 10 points by evaluating:
    • your final test
    • your resume
    • the praise received in educational activities
    • the time taken to complete your studies

When the score reaches (or exceeds) 110, the committee may unanimously award the lode upon the rapporteur's proposal.

N.B.You can only graduate if you have obtained a mark of no less than 66 out of 110.
