The course provides flexible and specialized training in the management of companies in the transport, logistics, shipping and port sectors.
The course, therefore, answers to the demand of the enterprises that operate in the aforesaid business, to the search of professional profiles able to understand and to resolve the main problems of business, economic, juridical and mathematical-quantitative nature that characterize the activities and the productive processes related to the different ways of transport, to the intermodality and to the basic and advanced logistics.

In the courses are provided testimonials and seminars by qualified professionals in the field, laboratory activities and group work.

The course combines institutional and methodological skills and knowledge with a relevant applicative and operational component, to allow you to enter the job market immediately, or continue your studies.

The course is divided into two phases:

  • a first core of basic courses, common to all three-year degree programs offered by the Department of Economics, designed to provide a solid interdisciplinary preparation in four areas - economics, business, quantitative and legal -, which occupies the first three semesters
  • .
  • a second nucleus of highly characteristic and specialized courses, capable of providing students with a high level of specialization in the fields of transport, logistics, shipping and ports
  • .

The acquisition of the necessary linguistic skills, useful to work in companies with a high level of internationalization such as those transport-logistics, is ensured with the compulsory teaching of English and with the possibility to deepen other foreign languages - French, German, Spanish and Chinese culture.

The course is completed by the compulsory teaching of computer science, a series of other professionalizing educational activities, non-curricular teaching in English focused on specialized contents, internships and the opportunity to participate in the Erasmus+ program.

Welcome to the Bachelor of Science in Economics of Maritime Companies, Logistics and Transport! A unique course of study at national level, focused on the needs of companies operating in shipping, transport and logistics, with lecturers who for the most part have a specific research background in these areas. From the structure located inside the port of Genoa you can embark on a fascinating journey to discover these companies, the managerial logic that governs their operation, the critical factors behind their success and the scenarios within which they operate on a national and international scale.
