Deadlines

Enrollment for numbered courses

The deadlines for matriculation to a programmed numbered course depend on ministerial regulations and calls for applications: go to the page of Admission Calls and consult the one for the course you are interested in.

Enrollment years after the first

The deadlines are:

  • from July 16 to October 3, 2024
  • from October 4 and by November 6, 2024 with arrears

Out of course of the former system* and beyond the normal term, the due dates are:

  • from July 16 to October 3, 2024
  • from October 4 and by November 6, 2024 with arrears

*For off-course students under the former system: exceptions submitted after the deadline of November 6, 2024 may be accepted by March 31, 2025.

Transfers

You want to apply for transfer:

  • from another University to the University of Genoa (incoming)
  • from the University of Genoa to another university (outgoing)

The deadlines are:

  • from July 16 to October 3, 2024
  • from October 4 and by November 6, 2024 with late fees

Inbound: this deadline refers to both the application for leave at the other University and the application for enrollment at Unige, under penalty of paying the late fee.

Incoming to programmed numbered courses (years after the first): for these courses, transfer applications can only be submitted following clearance to be applied for at UniGe by August 30, 2024.
For the courses of study in Medicine and Surgery, Dentistry, Dental Prosthetics and Health Professions and Architectural Sciences, a special "Admission Notice" will be issued.

Outgoing: N.B: For outgoing transfers, the UniGe student must take into account the deadlines set by the other university.

Course transitions

Do you want to apply to passage from one course at the University of Genoa to another course at the University of Genoa?

 For open access courses, the deadlines are:

  • from July 16 to October 3, 2024
  • from October 4 and by November 6, 2024 with late fees

N.B. it is necessary to make the transfer confirmation only after taking the exams of the previous degree course. With the transition, it will no longer be possible to take the exams in the previous year's syllabus, even for courses that share part of the exams.

For courses with programmed numbering by the deadlines stipulated in the notices of admissions and any sliding procedures.

Fees

The deadlines are:

  • First installment (stamp duty and regional fee): upon confirmation of matriculation or upon enrollment in years beyond the first.
  • Second installment: by December 13, 2024
  • Third installment: by June 20, 2025

Other deadlines

Other important deadlines are:

  • Scholarship: check the deadlines of the ALISEO call for applications
  • Study plans: October - November 2024. The exact deadline will be determined by the relevant teaching facilities. The student must be in good standing with the registration for a.y. 2024/2025
  • Proficiency and graduation examination: 31 March 2026
