Committees and delegates

Course Council Coordinator

He is in charge of carrying out the functions assigned to him by the University Statute and the University Teaching Regulations:

  • coordinates the committees and persons in charge of Course of Study activities
  • convenes the CdS Council
  • approves the SUA-CdS, SMA and RCRs

The degree programme (CdS) has a Quality Assurance (QA) system in place to monitor its management processes.

It is responsible for:

  • compiling and updating the Single Annual Report (SUA-CdS)
  • analysing and compiling the Annual Monitoring Report (SMA)
  • draw up the Cyclical Review Report and monitor the progress of the proposed improvement activities

  • to analyse reports and requests from students, lecturers and administrative staff in accordance with the procedures established by the University
  • promote a culture of educational quality and self-assessment within the degree programme
  • analyse the Almalaurea questionnaires and other sources of information (e.g. questionnaires from host organisations or companies)
  • analyse the report of the Joint School Commission

Teaching Commission

It deals with:

  • reviewing teaching facilities and student services
  • reviewing CFUs in relation to teaching load and progression across semesters
  • revise the admission requirements and the modalities for intermediate and final examinations
  • check the information in the teaching schedules
  • monitor the training course and organise it taking into account the needs of facilities and services

  • articulating the needs arising from society, the world of work and the cultural sphere
  • providing advice on the alignment of the study programme and specific teaching activities with educational demand

Responsible for orientation to the world of work

It is responsible for:

  • organising initial preparation verification activities (Telemaco) and OFA remedial activities (Perseo-Teseo)
  • informing the CoS Coordinators about the enrolled students and their initial preparation status

Responsibilities include:

  • organising activities to promote career guidance (meetings with companies, etc.)
  • maintain a database containing graduates’ details (subject to their consent) in order to send them job offers or invitations to interviews and to refer graduates interested in a particular position to companies

It is in charge of:

  • updating and verifying information on the federated site
  • checking that transparency requirements are met

Responsible for coordinating class schedule and exams

Responsibilities include:

  • organising careers guidance activities with schools and work-based learning programmes
  • organise activities to promote the degree programme externally
  • co-ordinate induction and academic tutoring activities for first-year students

Responsibilities include:

  • managing timetables to avoid clashes
  • optimise the scheduling of exam dates

Responsibilities include:

  • organising ongoing career guidance
  • providing information and support to students on choosing a course of study, drawing up study plans, etc.

  •   promoting, collecting and managing proposals for curricular work placements and any other work placements
  •   to allocate curricular placements and appoint internal tutors
  •   organise the collection of questionnaires and feedback from the organisations where placements and work experience have taken place

Responsibilities include:

  • promoting and coordinating outgoing and incoming student mobility through the Erasmus+ programme or other international programmes
  • to promote the internationalisation of the degree programme through promotional activities abroad and staff mobility
