Recommended background knowledge

If you want to deal proficiently with the Chemistry and Chemical Technology course, it is highly advisable to possess a knowledge of basic mathematics, and in particular of:

  • algebra
  • geometry
  • trigonometry
  • .

Mathematics, in fact, is very important for the rigorous study of chemical processes, and while there is a fairly extensive teaching of mathematics in the first year, this cannot start from scratch, but must take certain concepts and skills of the student for granted in order to move on to the more advanced topics necessary to deal with many of the teachings in chemistry.

The chemistry teachings, on the other hand, begin with the basics, and thus, even if one has little initial knowledge of the subject, one can approach the course with profit.
