Assessment of Adequacy of Personal Readiness

What is

The Assessment of Adequacy of Personal Readiness is the tool provided by the Educational Regulations to assess your preparation for the purpose of matriculation to the Master's Degree.

The dates of the interviews will be available starting in early September on the Department of Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry website in the News and Events section of the Home page of this website.

To participate, it is necessary to write by the deadline that will be made known to Prof. Andrea Basso (andrea.basso@unige.it), coordinator of the course of study.

How to access

To take the Personal Preparation Adequacy Test you must do the pre-registration and submit the application for admission, so that you will be on the lists of students who must take the test or are exempt from it.

Following this, if the test is successful, you must confirm your registration.

N.B.: Pre-registration and verification of the adequacy of personal preparation are free. Payment of the registration fee and regional fee is expected upon confirmation of registration.

How it works

The test consists of an interview covering the following disciplines: Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, General and Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry.

Where and when

The date of the interview will be agreed upon with the designated Commission; if it is not passed, it may be held once again at least 30 days after the first examination.

To prepare yourself

The topics of the interview will be related to Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, General and Inorganic Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. The test will consist of general questions on these four disciplines.
