Admission criteria and procedure

Admission requirements

You can only enter this course if you have earned a bachelor's degree or equivalent (pre-doctoral degree, university diploma - 3 years, direct school for special purposes - 3 years), if you meet the specific requirements, and if you pass the prerequisite check.

Did you get your degree abroad?

If you graduated abroad, you will have to take a proof of Italian language proficiency.

If you graduated in Italy, continue reading.

Curricular requirements

To enroll in this course you must have:

  • a bachelor's degree in geological disciplines: L-34 Class of Bachelor's Degrees in Geological Sciences, Class 16 Bachelor's Degrees in Earth Sciences, Bachelor's Degrees in Geological Sciences from the former four-year and five-year system
  • a degree in Italy (three-year degree ex DM 509 or 270, single-cycle bachelor's degree ex DM 509 or 270, four-year, five-year degree of the old system) or an equivalent foreign degree. In this case, you will have to demonstrate that you have the geological skills necessary to pursue your studies with profit (through an admission interview)
  • English language proficiency equivalent to a B2 level (by admission interview if you do not hold a certification)

2. Register and pre-register

To enroll in this course of study, you must go through the online process that includes registration and pre-registration (for more information you can watch theTUTORIAL).

UniGe Portal Registration

If you have never been enrolled at the University of Genoa, access the UniGe Portal and get your UniGePASS credentials (for more information you can watch the TUTORIAL).

Pre-registration

Make apply for pre-registration using the UniGePASS credentials you received with your registration.
