    OVERVIEW

Spanish Language  1 (9 CFU) consists of an annual Spanish Language Course and a Theoretical Module in the first semester.

The lessons of the theoretical module (Ana de Hériz) are taught in two groups divided by surname (A-K in group A and L-Z in group B ). There are three Spanish Language Course groups, divided by surname: A-D (Prof. Carmelo Valero), E-O (Prof. Carmelo Valero) and P-Z (Prof. Anne Serrano).

The course Spanish I as a third language (6 CFU) includes only the Spanish Language Course.

    AIMS AND CONTENT

    LEARNING OUTCOMES

The course is intended to promote theoretical-practical reflection on the morphology and syntax of Spanish, while at the same time offering the vocabulary necessary to comprehend written and oral Spanish. It also provides adequate knowledge of the bibliographic tools that are essential for reaching the required level.

    AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

    Theorical Module (for 9 CFU):

The aim of the course is to provide the tools to understand the different linguistic components of Spanish that are used in communicative activities, paying special attention to the phonological/phonetic, morphological and lexical levels, in order to encourage an approach that contrasts with Italian and/or the mother tongues of the learners. Different variants of Spanish in the world will be considered.

    Spanish Language Course (9 & 6 CFU)

The 1st year Spanish language Course is aimed at a linguistic-cultural preparation at the B1 level of the CEFR:

“Can understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc. Can deal with most situations likely to arise whilst travelling in an area where the language is spoken. Can produce simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest.
