The course “EMG recording techniques and evoked potentials” is crucial in the training of the neurophysiology technician.
It consists of 4 modules, of which the module ‘Clinical Neurophysiology’ will provide the basis for understanding the techniques of neurophysiological study of the central and peripheral nervous system, which will then be put into practice by the modules “Electroneurography” and ‘Evoked potentials’. Electroencephalography, which has already been covered in previous courses, is excluded.
The ‘Special Speech Therapy Techniques’ module supplements the teaching by providing specific aspects of understanding the mechanisms of swallowing, phonation and neurostimulation, thus specifically addressing the neurophysiological study of the pharyngo-laryngeal district.
Knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the central and peripheral nervous system.
