OVERVIEW

Teaching Rehabilitation and behavioral cognitive therapies is an integrated course consisting of several disciplines.

Each discipline is a module, which is referred to for specific information.

AIMS AND CONTENT

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Knowledge oh the theoretical basics, cognitive-behavioral techniques and develop the skills for their application in psychiatric rehabilitation, deepening knowledge of the organization and network of services, major EBP rehabilitation treatments and scientific evidence, including Social skills training, Problem solving, IPT, as well as the early rehabilitation methodology in psychiatry.

PREREQUISITES

The course provides as prerequisites theoretical knowledge related to the psychological discipline, psychiatric, psychiatric rehabilitation. In particular with respect to psychopathology, basic psychological knowledge, the fundamentals of psychiatric rehabilitation and networking. The latter will allow to frame EBM treatments within the concept of recovery, personalized medicine and the scientific paradigm. Traineeship experiences and laboratory activities, with the theoretical-technical and relational skills developed, will be a valid support to the understanding and active participation in the lessons.
