CODE 72414 ACADEMIC YEAR 2025/2026 CREDITS 6 cfu anno 2 INGEGNERIA MECCANICA - PROGETTAZIONE E PRODUZIONE 9269 (LM-33) - GENOVA SCIENTIFIC DISCIPLINARY SECTOR ING-IND/17 LANGUAGE Italian TEACHING LOCATION GENOVA SEMESTER 1° Semester MODULES Questo insegnamento è un modulo di: ENGINEERING FOR INDUSTRIAL SUSTAINABILITY AND NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING METHODS TEACHING MATERIALS AULAWEB OVERVIEW The course directs the need for engineers to develop solutions that have the potential to address the current global challenges by providing products, services and processes taking into consideration capacities and local constraints to pursue a socio-technical context economically, socially and environmentally sustainable by a perspective Technological. The resources required for manufacturing and the use of these products are limited and not equally distributed in the world. Resources available locally, local capacities as well as constraints must be development guidelines for product innovations and process compared to the entire product life cycle. AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES The course aims to provide a 'toolbox' to support sustainable manufacturing practices for the engineer supporting manufacturing companies for the reduction of inputs, waste and costs, for the improvement of efficiency, the increase in performance. production and competitiveness. Learn about the digital evolution of production systems with particular reference to the Industry 4.0 paradigm, and the analysis of issues related to improving the efficiency of manufacturing systems. Evaluate the production processes and planning of the industrial production of products. Acquire a holistic system perspective by integrating social, environmental, economic and technological factors. AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES Understanding the operational activities related to logistics, industrial production and the provision of related services. Knowing the concepts and operational methods of management with particular reference to the intra-organizational dimension and the extension to the inter-organizational dimension related to logistics processes. Analyzing the main phases of the production logistic process with reference to qualitative and quantitative analysis and resolution techniques. Providing specific skills that allow students to apply and solve the typical problems of managing logistics, production and service systems. PREREQUISITES None. TEACHING METHODS The 5 topics will be developed approximately over 12 weeks of frontal lessons divided into two days of lessons per week. Some seminars will be organized. Attendance is compulsory or recommended. Some simple exercises will be carried out. Media such as web videos will be used. The lessons will be held with the support of power point presentations (material in English) and held in Italian. The last two weeks will be used to introduce and explain the assignment.
