OVERVIEW

Splitting A-L

Comparative Public and Private Law is divided into two modules, worth 9 CFU and 54 hours (67105) and 3 CFU and 18 hours (64928) respectively. The first module aims to provide students with the theoretical tools to understand comparative public law, covering its historical development and current trends, with reference to the most significant constitutional systems. The second module explores, from a comparative perspective, key topics in comparative private law, with particular attention to family law and its intersection with intercultural issues.

The final mark will be calculated as a weighted average (3/4 + 1/4) of the total marks obtained in the two modules, with lecturers having the discretion to increase the final mark in cases of outstanding performance.

NB: for further details, please refer to the specifications set out in the course descriptions for each module
