What are The course of study includes a obligation to acquire CFUs by performing Other Activities that are closely related to your university course and useful for your placement in the world of work. The course of study activates for this purpose numerous Laboratories designed as a completion of the course of study: attendance at these Laboratories is therefore the preferred pathway for the acquisition of CFU Other Activities. Depending on the chosen curriculum, there are from 3 to 6 CFUs available for Other Activities: for the Modern and Classical curricula 3 CFUs of Other activities for the Music and Performing Arts curriculum 3 CFUs of Other Activities and 3 CFUs of Laboratory Activities among those activated by the course. Students in all curricula must take the activities in their first and/or second year.
Recognized activities These are recognised activities: Laboratories and lectures activated by the Department or recognised by the Course and can be consulted in the Proposals for other activities Erasmus stay credits acquired during the Erasmus or Cinda programmes: 2 CFUs for the acquisition of 12 CFUs abroad, 3 CFUs for the acquisition of 18 CFUs, irrespective of the duration of the stay abroad. Recognition as supernumerary credits is also permitted if the student has already acquired all or part of the CFUs envisaged for the other activities. Study period abroad for reasons of study other than the Erasmus+ programme, for a maximum of 3 CFU, assessed on a case-by-case basis by the commission Internships and work placements approved by the study programme and the Department for a total of 3 non-divisible CFUs acquired in 75 hours. The criterion also applies to activities assimilated to internships and apprenticeships undertaken as part of international mobility programmes. Certification of language skills starting from level B1, issued by bodies recognised by UniGe or by an appropriate public and/or private institute, in Italy or abroad, with proof of passing the relevant test. For a total of 3 non-divisible CFUs. This certification must be acquired during the university period and not previously. N.B.The certification used for the English Language Assessment Test (AT) cannot be reused for credits in the Other Activities. Participation in scientific and educational initiatives (conferences, congresses, excavation campaigns and educational trips, seminars, training courses, etc.) under the following conditions . the activity must have been previously accredited by the course of study. presence of a signature sheet recording your participation for the entire duration of the conference or seminar drawing up an articulate and detailed report of the work of the conference or seminar, followed and checked by the proposing lecturer (where required) Performance of the role of student representative of the course of studies in QA commissions, Joint Commission, Course Council: max 1 CFU per activity equal to 25 hours of attendance at meetings and meetings of the CdS Citizenship training courses and RAISE: maximum 1 CFU out of the 3 CFU or 6 CFU envisaged by the curriculum, from among those indicated in the Other activities proposals Post-secondary diplomas. issued by university or para-university institutions and public bodies, certificates of courses of the same type (3 CFU non-divisible) with proof of passing the relevant examination. Civil Service certified and carried out at legally recognised institutions (duration of at least one year, for 3 credits), judged by the Commission to be pertinent to the course of study. Certified work activity pertinent to the curriculum as judged by the Commission Other credits and of at least annual duration

CFU Recognition To apply for the recognition of other credits, you must hand in the Committee for Other Credits contact person for your curriculum, at least three months before the final discussion, the specific form with a paper file stating: . the activity carried out and/or competence acquired the duration of the activity. The delivery of the documentation must take place only after the acquisition of all the 3 CFUs envisaged for the other activities code 53417 and it is therefore advisable to include the code in the study plan for the year in which you plan to carry out all the activities necessary to be able to submit an application for recognition. It is understood that each credit corresponds to a minimum commitment of 25 hours.
