Course Council Coordinator

He is in charge of carrying out the functions assigned to him by the University Statute and the University Teaching Regulations:

  • coordinates the committees and those responsible for the activities of the Degree Course
  • .
  • convenes the Council of the Degree Course
  • .
  • approves the SUA-CdS, the SMA and the RCR
  • .
  • communicates to the CoS the results of all the activities carried out by the committees and the various activity managers

Course of Study QA Committee

The Course of Study (CdS) is equipped with a Quality Assurance (QA) system to keep management processes under control.

  • compiling and updating the Single Annual Report Form (SUA-CdS) and the Annual Monitoring Form (SMA)
  • .
  • edit the Cyclic Review Report (RCR) and monitor the progress of the proposed improvement activities
  • .
  • analyse didactic evaluation questionnaires, Almalaurea questionnaires, School Joint Commission reports
  • monitor the reports and requests of students, lecturers and technical-administrative staff
  • .
  • identify training demand and training objectives
  • develop the training pathway
  • verify that transparency requirements are met

Teaching Commission

It deals with:

  • verify teaching facilities and student services
  • verify CFUs in relation to teaching load and progression in semesters
  • revise access requirements and arrangements for midterm and final examinations
  • check the information in the teaching records
  • monitor the course of instruction and organize it taking into account the needs of facilities and services

Steering Committee

It deals with:

  • expressing needs from society and the world of work and culture
  • providing an opinion between the consistency of the course of study and specific training activities with the demand for training

Guidance and mentoring committee

It deals with:

  • organising meetings with students for the presentation of the course
  • organise reception services for international students in collaboration with the UniGe International Mobility Service
  • monitor the progress of students' careers
  • promote the International Curriculum (Master Serp+)

It deals with:

  • promoting, collecting and managing, proposals for internship and thesis activities
  • organise the collection of questionnaires and opinions of the institutions where placements and theses were carried out
  • monitor the employment status of graduates
  • promote orientation activities for the world of work

Admissions Committee

For the ordinary curriculum, it deals with:

  • examining applications for admission, ascertaining possession of the curricular requirements and deciding on admission
  • providing information on how the admission requirements are met

For the international curriculum, it deals with:

    Examining applications and awarding any scholarships

Website manager

It deals with:

  • updating and verifying the information on the course of study website
  • checking that transparency requirements are met

Responsible for coordinating class schedule and exams

It deals with:

  • managing class schedules so as to avoid overlapping
  • optimising the distribution of exam dates

Managers

Responsible for international activities

It deals with:

  • coordinating student mobility in the Erasmus+ programme or other international programmes
  • coordinate the educational activities of the international curriculum
  • select incoming students of the international curriculum
  • organise the SOSMSE Summer School (compulsory for the international curriculum)
  • be part of the commission for the final examination held in Paris every year
