In the second semester you can participate in free-attendance English language courses, organized by your Course of Study and taught by a native speaker.Even if you have a good command of English, we still recommend that you attend the course since a significant part of it is devoted to teaching scientific English.At the end of the course you must take an interview and demonstrate that you have achieved level B2 on the scale called the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The scale is composed of language levels formulated within the framework of the Council of Europe and is adopted in many professional and educational contexts. Further details will be given during the course.Because it is a specialized knowledge of the English language, the programme of the course aims at an in-depth analysis of the typical features of printed, digital and filmic scientific texts and studies techniques of description and annotation of these texts.
