The course in brief

Presentation

The three-year course of study in Philosophy includes within it several research directions:

.
  • epistemological
  • historical-theoretical
  • ethical-political
  • psycho-pedagogical

Advances critical and in-depth knowledge of the history of philosophical and scientific thought through reading classic works and thematic exercises.

Prepares for the analysis of problems and the use of argumentative modes for the formation of critical judgment on the subjects under study.

Learning by doing

Frontal lectures, seminar meetings and written reports on major classical works.

Exercises on the original language texts.

Participation in conferences organized by the Department of Antiquities, Philosophy, History - DAFIST - and the School.

Professional outlets

Secondary school teaching - continuing with the LM in Philosophical Methodologies - in the respective classes: A18 (Philosophy and Humanities, former 36A) and A19 (History and Philosophy, former 37A).
