Deadlines

The deadlines for enrolling in a course with a fixed number of places depend on ministerial provisions and competition notices: go to the admission notices page and consult the one for the course you are interested in.

The deadlines are:

• from 15 July to 3 October 2025

• from 4 October to 5 November 2025 with late payment
.

Out of the previous term* and beyond the normal term the deadlines are:

• from 15 July to 3 October 2025
.
• from 4 October and by 5 November 2025 with late payment
.

*For out-of-course students under the previous system: applications for an exception submitted after the 5 November 2025 deadline may be accepted until 31 March 2026.

• First instalment € 136: by 3 October 2025, of which € 16 stamp duty + € 120 regional tax (minimum amount)

• Second instalment: by 10 December 2025. It is calculated on the basis of the table published on the page How taxes work

• Third instalment: by 25 June 2026. This is the adjustment fee, calculated on the basis of the table published on the page How taxes work

If you want to apply for transfer the deadlines are:

• Inbound Transfer:
  • from 15 July to 3 October 2025
  .
  • from 4 October and no later than 5 November 2025 with delay
    this deadline refers both to the application for leave at the other university and to the application for enrolment at Unige, under penalty of payment of the late payment fee
    .
• Incoming transfers to courses with a programmed number of students (years following the first year): for these courses transfer applications may only be submitted following authorisation to be applied for at UniGe to be presented by 28 August 2025.
  
  For the courses of study in Medicine and Surgery, Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics and Health Professions and Architectural Sciences, a specific Admission Notice will be issued, indicating the deadline for submitting applications.
   
• Outgoing transfers: for outgoing transfers, UniGe students must take into account the deadlines set by the other university.

    . N.B. it is necessary to confirm the transfer only after having sat the exams of the previous degree course. With the changeover it will no longer be possible to take the examinations in the previous year's syllabus, even for courses that share some of the examinations.
